More and more apartments in Sunny Beach are being offered with instalment plans – sometimes for 2 years, and in some cases even up to 10 years directly from the developer or seller.
Some recent offers I have seen would allow you to receive the keys after paying just 5%, followed by another 15% within 2 months. The remaining balance can then be spread over a period of up to 10 years.
The advantages are obvious:

✔ no bank mortgage required;
✔ opportunity to secure a property sooner;
✔ more flexibility with your finances;
✔ potential benefit if property prices continue to rise.
One of the biggest advantages of these offers is that they are often available in new developments or recently renovated complexes. Developers offering payment plans over many years need to be confident that their complexes will remain attractive and competitive in the future. These properties also often benefit from more modern construction standards, technologies, and equipment.

That said, there are also some very attractive offers where the property price remains competitive, and the instalment terms are genuinely interesting. As an independent buyer-side guide, I always recommend looking at the full picture rather than just the monthly payment.
